Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born on 20th August 1974 in Aviano Italy) American actress, especially noted for her critically-acclaimed performances of naive and charming characters. Adams was the youngest of seven siblings who grew up as a child in Colorado's Castle Rock. Adams was born when her father worked for the U.S. Military in Italy. The early 1990s were when Adams began dancing professionally for Boulder's Dinner Theatre as well as the Country Dinner Playhouse. She then moved to a regional theatre in Minnesota which was where she got her first role in a mock documentary film about beauty pageants Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999). She moved to Los Angeles after making her debut in the screen with the snarky but good-natured contestant. She was married to actor Tony Curtis from June 1951 from September 1962 to June 1951 and she was the mom of Kelly Curtis and Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh's film career began after signing a MGM contract in the mid-1940s. She was discovered through actress Norma Shearer. She appeared in several popular movies in the subsequent decade like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) and Living It Up (a Martin and Lewis film from 1954).
