Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born on the 12th of November, 1961 at Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now Onestiin Gheorghe Gheorghiu dej, now Onesti Romania). She was first gymnast to score a perfect 10 on an Olympic event. Bela Karolyi later Romanian gymnastics coach, discovered Comaneci when she was just seven years old. First competing in the championships for juniors from Romania in 1969 she placed 13th. In 1970, she the Romanian gymnast won. In 1972, at a meet of communist countries junior athletes before the Olympics she took home three medals of gold. Then in 1973 and '74 she was the junior champion in all aspects. In her debut as a Senior in the year 1975, she defeated Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. The five-time European champion who won four golds and a silver. She became the first female to do a reverse double salo with the bar with a parallel surface after winning the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She started her career in entertainment during her teenage years, when she performed as a figure skating duo with her twin sister Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne, born in Chicago Illinois US on 6 September 1942. Carol's professional career started in the entertainment industry in her teens. Early on, Carol began as a figure skater in traveling shows Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. The show featured stage-moving ice-skating shows.
