Richard Bruce Cheney is the son of Richard Herbert Cheney of the late Marjorie Lauraine Dickey. He was born on the 30th of January 1941, within Lincoln Nebraska. In the age of thirteen Richard and his family moved from Nebraska to Casper which was where his dad worked as the head of Casper's U.S. Department of Agriculture local soil conservation district.
